48th Norsk Convoy sets sail

Princess Owners Celebrate Landmark Norsk Convoy
Continuing a long standing tradition, a group of Norwegian Princess owners have set sail on the 48th Nye Norsk Convoy from Plymouth to Bergen and for two owners in particular this was a landmark event.
Mr Kjell Pedersen has taken ownership of his tenth Princess yacht, a Princess 60, on what will be his eighth convoy. To mark the occasion Mr Pedersen was presented with a Magnum of Moet by Managing Director of Princess Yachts International, Chris Gates, who thanked him for his loyal custom over the years and wished him many more years happy boating with Princess.
On the opposite end of the spectrum Mr Geir Berg was taking part in his first ever convoy on board his first Princess yacht, a Princess 42.The Norsk convoys are extremely popular with Norwegian customers, regardless of their boating experience, as although the 1100 mile trip may seem rather daunting for some it is the ideal opportunity to gain some invaluable experience with their boats under the close guidance of experienced crew should it be required. The 48th Convoy set sale from Plymouth on Sunday under clear blue skies on a 5 day trip back to Norway.
