An exciting new option has been released by Princess on their latest V42 and V45 models. Volvo has developed a joystick control in conjunction with their stern drive systems, which has previously only been available with IPS drives.

This has involved a redesign of the engine configuration and outdrives themselves, which leaves the legs operating independently in order to achieve greater maneuverability when docking or operating in confined spaces. This system is so efficient that it leaves bowthrusters redundant and therefore they are not fitted as standard, thus helping reduce the cost of this configuration further.

 This innovative option is available now and can be chosen at the same time as the engine options are specified.
